Blog: Usage and Influence

Abstract

Blog is an English word (Weblogs or Web log) which represents web site updated continually and which subject content has been filed chronologically from the newest to older one. Miriam-Webster Dictionary published the word “blog” in 2004.Catalogue of Amazon Bookshop consists about 90.000 titles which are set up its blogs.Tim O’ Reilly suggested Bloggers’ Code of Conduct in 2005. Blog subject content is being searched with browser (searsh engine) for blogs – Blogsphere, as are Blogdigger, Feedster and Technorati. Blog means one of the highest top-level media domains of current information technology. The aim of this paper is refering about great thematic dissemination of blog and its influence on social processes. The role of blog in literature is emphasized especially.
