Abstract

The creation of the Croatian Web Archive of the National and University Library in Zagreb is presented together with its development during its first ten years of existence. The HAW started as a project that has become a regular service of the National and University Library in Zagreb. Described are the selection criteria, cataloguing and archiving procedure. The importance of the Croatian Web Archive for the long-term protection of national digital heritage is emphasized.
