Library of the Catholic Theological Faculty in Sarajevo

Abstract

Library of the Catholic Theological Faculty in Sarajevo during 120 years of its existing was being under auspices of the high school, as the Catholic Theological Faculty in Sarajevo called nowadays. Library terminated two times its work being in the same boat with Theological Faculty. With education reform in the country and reconstruction of the Theology where itself belonged, Library has tried to follow all the changes and serving its primary users, professors and students of the Theology. Although, Library never been closed for all goodwill people, from its beginning till nowadays.

The purpose of this paper is a short presentation of Library of the Catholic Theological Faculty in Sarajevo. During its history , institutional structure and working it’s tried to show its importance and worth for the whole society in general. Also, in this paper Catholic Theological Faculty in Sarajevo will be mentioned briefly. With its short history and development, it will be presented its nowadays structure, way of faculty working and its publishing.
