Abstract

Expansion of technological achievements has brought great changes into all segments of society and libraries, too. This article deals with those changes and their impact on library organization, as well as the role of librarian in the frame of such changes. Also, some question are discussed, such as: Which kind of library do we need? Is it possible to achieve harmony between past and present?
