Author Guidelines

RECOMMENDATION FOR AUTHORS / AUTHOR GUIDELINES


Manuscripts should be sent/submitted in the electronic form to the e-mail address: bosniaca@nub.ba.

If you do not receive any response within seven days that the manuscript was sent for further procedure, please contact us by phone: ++ 387 33 275 408.

Along with the paper, additional data should be submitted:

- Title in Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian / Montenegrin and English language

- Author’s name and surname

- Institution name (if exists)

- Author’s address and e-mail address

- Abstract and keywords in Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian / Montenegrin and English language

- References

- Short biography

The languages of the journal are Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian / Montenegrin and English, in Latin script (Times New Roman, 12pt, single-spaced).

Model of citation “In-text-citation” is used in the texts, as guidance method of the first element, date and page.

At the end of the paper, cite references alphabetically by author’s last name using the syntax of The Chicago Manual of Style.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Recommendations for Authors / Author Guidelines which is found in About the Journal.
  2. Articles shold be delivered by e-mail to bosniaca@nub.ba
  3. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  4. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  5. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  6. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
