Abstract

One of numerous collections in Historical Archive of Sarajevo is the Collection of Maps and Plans. This Collection is small, but valuable since it contains the largest number of maps of Bosnia and Herzegovina (from 17th to 21st century). Knowing that old maps represent an important segment of our cultural heritage, the value of this Collection is even larger. Last year, Historical Archive of Sarajevo organized an exhibition "Maps and Plans of Sarajevo" in Brusa Bazaar, Sarajevo, from 12 to 19 December, when some of these old BIH maps and plans were copied to CDs.
