Sažetak

Cilj: Cilj rada je proširiti teoretsko razumijevanje utjecaja procesa digitalne transformacije na knjižnice iz sustava znanosti i visokog obrazovanja te istražiti karakteristike digitalne zrelosti knjižnica kako bi se moglo procijeniti u kojem se smjeru može poboljšati korisničko iskustvo te ubrzati i povezati dijelovi knjižničnog poslovanja.

Pristup/metodologija/dizajn: U radu se daje pregled teorijske podloge i pregled znanstvenih istraživanja o konceptu digitalne transformacije u kontekstu visokih učilišta s naglaskom na knjižnice u sustavu znanosti i visokog obrazovanja.

Rezultati: Knjižnice u sustavu znanosti i visokog obrazovanja igraju ključnu ulogu u osiguravanju digitalnog pristupa građi te podržavaju znanstvenike, nastavnike i studente u obrazovanju i istraživanju kroz suvremene knjižnične informacijske sustave. Suvremene platforme u oblaku s ugrađenim discovery servisima omogućuju objedinjeno upravljanje građom, analitiku, integraciju sustava te primjenu umjetne inteligencije za poboljšanje usluga korisnicima.

Praktična primjena: Rezultati istraživanja primjenjivi su pri izradi strateških i operativnih planova rada knjižnica.

Originalnost/vrijednost: Istraživanjem karakteristika prema kojima se može mjeriti digitalna zrelost knjižnica znanosti i visokog obrazovanja rad doprinosi općem razumijevanju pojma digitalne transformacije i operacionalizaciji u procesima knjižničnog poslovanja.
