Abstract

Library Information system of Bosnia and Herzegovina - BIS BIH is library information infrastructure of cultural activity and cultural organizations protecting documents on cultural heritage. These documents are witnesses of national identity and cultural-historical continuity of each nation living on the territory of B&H.

This paper deals with the goals and tasks of BIS BIH as the system of informing, as well as the role and main functions of NUBBIH in BIS BiH.
