Abstract

In this article the author described in detail the obligatory elements characterized a serial publication. The article describes the rules required for the identification of serials which, according to ISO standards, enable editors and publishers to present periodicals in a form which will facilitate their use and to help them to bring order and clarity to their own work. This article deals with the ISSN International Standard Serial Number - as a unique identifier for a serial title.
