Abstract

This article gives basic knowledge of bibliography from it is beginning to modern era. It gives some important moments of bibliography development, etymology, definitions, subjects, aims, relations with librarianship, and science in general. The work has instructive character and that is why it gives a detailed overview of creating bibliography, with special review of standardization.
