Abstract

The article is dedicated to a development of library automation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, adoption process of a single LIS at the state's level (COBISS.BH), and setting up of BIH Virtual Library (2005). Nowadays, 15 libraries from BIH operate within the system. Both the importance of systematic work and finding solution for financing the system at the state's level are emphasized in the article.
